Malagò described this appointment as part of a 'cultural revolution' aimed at reopening dialogue between football and other sports.
According to reports from Rai News, the Italian National Olympic Committee (Coni) is working to verify if there are any profiles of opportunity, incompatibility, or conflicts related to Bianchedi's appointment, in accordance with current regulations.
The Figc responded by stating that there are no conflicts of interest related to Bianchedi’s role, which is considered purely representational. Developments in the situation will be monitored by the appropriate bodies of Coni to ensure the regularity of the appointment.
