Drone explodes near gas pipeline in Bulgaria, says government

On Saturday, a drone exploded near a gas pipeline in Bulgaria, according to statements from Prime Minister Rumen Radev. The incident took place in the northeastern part of the country, in close proximity to a border post with Romania and about 1,000 meters from the compression station of the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline.

The Prime Minister clarified that the drone originated from Romania. The explosion occurred just 100 meters from the border, highlighting security concerns in the region.
