In the night between Saturday and Sunday, a magnitude 3.0 earthquake was registered in the Campi Flegrei, primarily affecting the city of Pozzuoli and the districts of Licola and Monterusciello. The tremor, which occurred at 2:27 a.m., awakened much of the population and was accompanied by a loud boom.

According to reports from Sky TG24, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 4 km and has been described as the strongest tremor in the recent seismic swarm that has affected the area, which began shortly after midnight. No damage to people or structures has been reported.
