ERSE identifies temporary differences in fuel prices
ERSE has released an analysis highlighting temporary differences between fuel quotations and prices, focusing on diesel.
The Regulatory Authority for Energy Services (ERSE) analyzed the evolution of fuel prices and concluded that there are "temporary differences" between gas station prices and quotations. This analysis was conducted at the request of the Government and states that there is no persistent trend of price increases occurring more rapidly than decreases.
ERSE notes that in the first seven months of 2026, fuel prices in Portugal have reflected this dynamic, with particular attention given to diesel.
