Evacuees from forest fires in British Columbia return home
While some are returning to their homes, thousands of properties remain evacuated.

Evacuees from Summerland in British Columbia are beginning to return home following the lifting of evacuation orders implemented since Friday in the Okanagan region. However, many of them have lost everything and have nowhere to stay, according to Le Devoir.
Despite the return of some, several thousand properties are still under evacuation orders, as reported by Radio-Canada. Authorities are continuing to manage the situation to ensure the safety of remaining residents.
