F1 Mexico: Hamilton Claims Pole, Antonelli Starts Fourth
Lewis Hamilton secures pole position in Mexico, while Antonelli starts fourth after a strong weekend of practice.

The Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix saw Lewis Hamilton secure pole position, continuing his remarkable run in the competition. Following Hamilton, who marked his 105th career pole, are George Russell and Charles Leclerc in second and third places, respectively.
Antonio Antonelli of Mercedes, having recovered from a viral infection, showcased strong performance and achieved the fourth-fastest time in qualifying. The driver, who faced health challenges prior to the event, managed to record competitive times in both practice and qualifying, solidifying his presence among the front runners.
During practice sessions, Antonelli had already demonstrated his form, finishing just behind Norris and Russell. Leclerc's Ferrari dominated the practice sessions, drawing attention with high performances. However, Hamilton experienced technical issues, forcing him to stop during practice and creating tension within the team.

Norris clocked the fastest time in the third practice session, edging out Antonelli by one thousandth of a second, while Leclerc and Hamilton placed third and sixth, respectively. Antonelli's performance has raised expectations for his future in the race weekend, suggesting he might gain additional positions during the race.
Qualifying revealed a high level of competitiveness, with Hamilton and Russell affirming Mercedes' strength. However, Verstappen was penalized, dropping him to fifth place. This situation opened up opportunities for Antonelli, who aims to capitalize on his favorable starting grid position.
The focus now shifts to the race, where Hamilton aims to maintain his advantage. Fans and enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the start of the competition, while Antonelli prepares to face a significant challenge with the goal of improving his final position. The performances of all drivers in the coming days will be crucial for the final outcome in the championship.
