FC Porto won the roller hockey Elite Cup by defeating Óquei de Barcelos 5-2. The match took place at the Municipal Pavilion in Santo Tirso, featuring two of the top teams in the sport.

In the final phase of the competition, Benfica and Oliveirense were unable to advance, having been eliminated in the semifinals, which opened the way for Porto and Barcelos to compete in the final.

The Dragons, as FC Porto is known, had a somewhat complicated start, as they fell behind in the middle of the first half. However, they were able to recover and dominated the game from the second half onward.

The lead was extended in the closing moments with two goals from Rafa Costa, which solidified the victory for the Porto team and set the final score at 5-2.

With this victory, FC Porto marks its name for the second time in the history of the Elite Cup, succeeding Benfica, who had won the trophy in the last three editions.

The game not only highlighted Porto's resilience, but also the commitment of the Óquei de Barcelos team, who fought until the very last moment to try to overturn the deficit.
