Fenerbahçe qualified for the group stage of the Champions League on Wednesday. The Turkish club won the second leg against Olympique Lyonnais 2-1, following a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Nathan Aké, who plays for Fenerbahçe, contributed to the victory. The team needed just two goals before halftime to advance in the tournament, despite a strong finish from Lyon.

Malick Fofana scored for Lyon, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit. Romelu Lukaku came off the bench and helped secure the victory for his team.

Loïs Openda, who also plays for Lyon, had not spoken with Lukaku before the match, according to sources. This indicates that both players focused on their roles during the game.

Fenerbahçe's victory enables the club to prepare for the League Phase of the Champions League. This is an important step for the team, which will compete at the highest European level again.

Nathan Aké and his Fenerbahçe teammates are now guaranteed a spot in the Champions League, offering them the opportunity to showcase their talents on the international stage.
