Fire at Farm in Neuwilen TG: Storage Hall Fully Engulfed
A major fire broke out in a storage hall on a farm in Neuwilen TG on Tuesday night, forcing the evacuation of over 50 people.
On Tuesday evening, a large fire broke out in Neuwilen, in the canton of Thurgau, engulfing a storage hall of an agricultural business. When the first responders arrived, the hall was already in flames, indicating the extent of the fire.
Due to the heavy smoke and fire risk, more than 50 people from the surrounding area were evacuated. The fire department was on the scene with a large contingent to extinguish the fire and prevent its spread.
Three fire departments were present and employed a hydraulic ladder to combat the flames. There were no reports of injuries during the operation, which eased the situation for the affected residents.
