Fire at Policlinico Gemelli in Rome, Patients Evacuated
A fire broke out at the Università Cattolica Policlinico Gemelli, leading to the evacuation of patients from the dialysis unit.

On Saturday, August 8, just before 11 a.m., a fire erupted in an electrical cabinet adjacent to the dialysis center of the Università Cattolica Policlinico Gemelli in Rome. The fire quickly required the intervention of firefighters, who secured the area.
In response to the danger, patients from the dialysis unit were relocated to the hospital's central building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among those affected by the incident.
Police forces from Montemario were active at the scene to initiate an investigation into the incident. Authorities will continue to examine the causes of the fire.
