The first edition of the Martín Fierro Awards for Music was held on Wednesday the 14th at the Tango Porteño theater, organized by APTRA. The gala marked a milestone by recognizing musical artists for the first time with various awards in nearly thirty categories.

Abel Pintos was awarded the Martín Fierro de Oro, standing out among the winners at the ceremony. The event's opening was led by Hernán Drago and Edith Hermida, who hosted the night.

Among the nominees were María Becerra, Lali Espósito, and Tini Stoessel, who topped the list of candidates. Additionally, Wanda Nara surprised the audience by receiving the Viral Song award for her musical debut "Bad Bitch."

The gala also paid tribute to prominent figures in Argentine music such as Palito Ortega, Chaqueño Palavecino, La Mona Jiménez, Patricia Sosa, and Raúl Lavié, honoring their legacy.

Wanda Nara, besides receiving recognition, captured attention with her bold outfit and a couple of interactions on stage, including a hug with artist L-Gante.

The event had a notable impact on Wednesday's ratings, increasing Elnueve's average audience, and it was in competition with other programs like MasterChef Celebrity.
