Football referee dies and several injured in Mendoza

Oscar Fernández Mercau, a well-known local football referee, died in a traffic accident on Provincial Route 60 in Maipú, Mendoza. The head-on collision involved several vehicles and occurred on Sunday.
In addition to Fernández, five people were injured in the incident. According to reports, the victims included Juana and Rosario Masó Tillar, aged 21 and 19, who died after being hospitalized in critical condition following the accident.
