French authorities have recalled around 300,000 condoms that do not comply with legal requirements. Laboratory tests have shown that two specific products have an increased risk of tearing or holes.

The Ministry of Health and inspection services in France have warned about the sale of tens of thousands of faulty condoms. These condoms pose serious health risks, including an increased risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unwanted pregnancies.

Users of these condoms are advised to get tested for STIs. Additionally, it is recommended to take a pregnancy test if menstruation is missed.

According to information from various sources, condoms that do not meet the established standards have been sold online and through pharmacies and stores.

The warning comes at a time when the use of condoms is deemed essential as the primary method of protection against sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies.

Authorities stress the importance of taking these tests and following the recommendations for users' health.
