GAK parts ways with coach Feldhofer after 0-8 defeat
Following a heavy 0-8 loss to Rapid, GAK has parted ways with coach Ferdinand Feldhofer. Joachim Standfest will temporarily take charge.
The Graz Athletic Sports Club (GAK) has parted ways with coach Ferdinand Feldhofer just one day after the 0-8 defeat in the Admiral Bundesliga against SK Rapid. This was officially announced on Monday.
The club management sees it as essential to set a new impulse. The expectations for the team's sporting development were not met, which made the decision to change coaches necessary.
In the interim, the club will be managed by Joachim Standfest. He returned as an assistant coach to the Graz team only in January and has played 263 official matches for GAK during his active career.
