Government Ends Cooperation with Derad De-Radicalization Center
The Interior Ministry confirms that the partnership with Derad is terminated due to suspicions of ideology.

The Federal Government has ended its cooperation with the de-radicalization organization known as Derad. The Interior Ministry announced in an official statement that there is evidence suggesting a connection between the organization and the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. Previously, state security had issued warnings in this context.
According to information from Die Presse, there are several relevant figures within the de-radicalization center who have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. However, there are no criminal charges against the organization, which does not affect the termination of cooperation.
The organization Derad itself rejects the allegations and denies any similarities to the Muslim Brotherhood. Consequently, the city of Vienna has also suspended its cooperation with Derad, further complicating the situation.
