Governors of Northern Grande Request Infrastructure for Gas Transport
In Posadas, provincial leaders urged Santilli for infrastructure to support their economies and discussed El Niño prevention.
Eight of the ten governors from Northern Grande gathered in Posadas and presented to Santilli the need for infrastructure to facilitate gas transport from Vaca Muerta to the north. The leaders stated that the current access to energy represents a 'bottleneck' for the economic development of the region.
According to a national government official, '90% of the agenda is resolved.' The meeting also addressed infrastructure issues such as roads and financing, and the matter of El Niño prevention was discussed as well.
