Monza defeated Cagliari 4-0 in Serie A, with Gustavo Varela standing out by scoring two goals and providing an assist during the match. The home team, featuring Varela, Ricardo Mangas, and Dany Mota in the starting lineup, secured a convincing victory.

At Cagliari, former FC Porto player Zé Pedro started the match and remained on the pitch until the 67th minute. The result reflects Monza's superior performance throughout the game.

The victory marks an important moment for Monza, which continues to seek to solidify its position in the league. Varela, in particular, has been showing good form since his arrival, significantly contributing to the team's recent successes.

The Italian league remains highly competitive, and Cagliari's departure with this result serves as a warning for the upcoming rounds, while Monza aims to maintain its positive momentum.
