Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in the UK today, according to BBC News. The couple, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, traveled by private jet from California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

This return marks the end of six years residing in the United States, where the family settled after Harry stepped back from the British royal family in 2020. The decision to return to the UK coincides with the start of the school year in September, when Archie and Lilibet are expected to begin attending school in the country.

Sources indicate that the family is expected to settle in a private residence in the Cotswolds, although specific details about the new home have not been disclosed.

Harry and Meghan's arrival has generated significant media attention in the UK and mixed reactions among citizens, reflecting the complexity of their position within the royal family and the general public.

The presence of the royal family in the country and Archie and Lilibet's adjustment to their new school life are topics widely discussed, with many closely following the progress of this transition.

The couple, whose children will now have access to a life more closely tied to their British heritage, raises questions about the future of their professional activities and interactions with the royal family, as well as the potential reactions of royal family members to their return.
