Hisense releases firmware update for Dolby Vision 2

Hisense has released a firmware update for its televisions that implements the new HDR standard Dolby Vision 2. This was announced by Dolby about a year ago and expands the existing technology with new image processing features that allow for a more comprehensive analysis and adjustment of the image signal in real-time.

The update will be rolled out to four models in the 2026 line. According to reports from other TV manufacturers, there are currently no indications of similar updates for their devices, meaning Dolby Vision 2 will initially be available exclusively to Hisense customers.
