Internet in Kamchatka Completely Shut Down for Four Days

In Kamchatka Krai, both mobile and fixed internet access will be completely shut down for four days. This is due to the repair of an underwater fiber optic connection, as reported on the local government's website. This measure affects the entire region and is expected to be carried out as planned, according to the authorities.

According to a report by The Insider, no emergency backup for the internet connection will be put in place because the costs of establishing such a line are deemed too high. The decision to forgo a temporary solution was made in light of the upcoming five-day period.
