Iran labels the end of the memorandum deadline with the U.S. as "irrelevant"
Iran asserts that the expiry of the negotiation deadline with the U.S. is insignificant due to violations of the memorandum.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagaei, stated that the end of the 60-day deadline for negotiating peace with the United States is "irrelevant." Bagaei argued that negotiations never began because, according to him, the United States committed significant violations of the agreement soon after it was signed.
On the other hand, the deadline expired amid a stalemate in the war for control of the Strait of Hormuz. This situation directly impacts regional stability, something Saudi Arabia has acknowledged by holding discussions with Oman and Qatar to address this issue.
Iran's statement and the context of the negotiations reflect ongoing tensions between the parties, where perceptions of violations and the lack of concrete progress have led to a defiant stance from Tehran. The future of any dialogue remains unclear.
