Israeli settlers have reportedly besieged two Palestinian families in their homes in the village of Qusra in the West Bank since Sunday. As the situation developed, reports indicated that Israeli security forces withdrew from the area, leaving around a dozen settlers at the site.

According to accounts from The Guardian, the settlers and soldiers have been blocking access to water and electricity for the affected residents, as well as hindering medical care. The siege appears aimed at forcing the families to vacate their properties amid an ongoing tension in the region.

The siege has focused on the home of Yousef Hassan, trapping him, his wife, and their two young daughters inside. The actions taken by the settlers have been described as part of a broader campaign of intimidation against Palestinian families in the area.
