Guimaraes Future Decided Before Jaissle's Arrival, Manager Says

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle stated that the decision regarding Bruno Guimaraes' future was made before he officially joined the club. Jaissle emphasized that he was already aware of the situation surrounding the club's departing captain when he first met him.

The circumstances leading to this decision remain unclear, but Jaissle's comments suggest that it was finalized without his involvement. This reflects a larger context within the club regarding player management during transitions in leadership.

Jaissle's remarks highlight the ongoing changes within Newcastle United as the club navigates its future with respect to its key players, including Guimaraes, who has been a central figure in their recent campaigns.
