Jerney Kaagman, the renowned singer of the Flemish band Earth & Fire, has died at the age of 79. She had suffered for some time from Parkinson's disease, which significantly impacted her life and career.

Kaagman was not only a talented musician but also an important figure in the music industry. She co-founded and served as president of the musician's union BV Pop and later became president of Stichting Conamus, now known as Stichting Buma Cultuur.
