Jharkhand Students' Protests Continue Amid Demands and Government Actions
Protests by students in Jharkhand over job exam irregularities have now entered their 21st day, coinciding with various actions from officials and plans for a march.

Protests in Jharkhand by students over alleged anomalies in job examinations have entered their 21st day. Demonstrators are demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter, escalating their actions with a planned 'Tiranga Yatra' on August 15, according to reports from The Hindu.
On August 12, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das threatened to initiate a hunger strike if their demands for an investigation are not addressed within a week. Meanwhile, the Ranchi district administration has faced criticism from protestors regarding a First Information Report (FIR) that was lodged in connection with violence during the march towards the state assembly on August 10.
The protests are compounded by a separate issue concerning a headmaster's transfer. Reports indicate that the headmaster was ordered to report back to his original school, prompting further unrest and road blockages as students express their grievances. This situation represents a convergence of academic concerns and administrative decisions affecting the local student community.
