João Palhinha, the defensive midfielder and Portuguese international, arrived in Lisbon early Saturday afternoon. His arrival is linked to a possible transfer to Benfica; however, the player clarified that he is still an athlete of Bayern Munich.
Several media outlets report that Palhinha is in the Portuguese capital to finalize his move to Benfica. Despite this, he emphasized that his situation is not yet resolved, stating, "I am still a player of Bayern."
