Dominican Joheirry Mola has been named Miss World 2026, while Spain's Elisabeth Reynés took second place.

Joheirry Mola, representing the Dominican Republic, has been crowned Miss World 2026 during the pageant held in Vietnam. Mola, 24, received the crown from outgoing Thai queen Opal Suchata Chuangsri, who concluded her reign at the event.
The event also highlighted Elisabeth Reynés of Spain, who secured the second place. Reynés, 22, was recognized as the best European contestant, achieving a performance that is considered historic for her country.
The competition included representatives from various countries and culminated with Mola winning in a final group that also comprised contestants from Malaysia, South Africa, and Eritrea. Reynés achieved significant milestones during this edition, marking her journey in the pageant.

From Peru, contestant Josiane Sciotti made it into the Top 20 and reached the Top 5 in the Americas and Caribbean category, standing out despite her limited international experience in beauty contests.
The participation of Mola and Reynés, along with other contestants, has been well received, showcasing the diversity and talent present in this significant international beauty competition.
