José Mourinho, coach of Real Madrid, spoke to the media in the press room at Valdebebas. Just days before the match against Real Sociedad, Mourinho expressed his confidence in Spanish refereeing, stating that he does not believe there are referees who consider themselves friends of Negreira.

During his remarks, Mourinho emphasized his view on refereeing: "I trust Spanish refereeing; I do not think they are friends of Negreira." The coach was firm in his belief that referees perform their duties with honesty.

Additionally, he stressed the importance of every point in matches, noting that the goal is to win, particularly in this clash that marks the team’s debut at the Bernabéu this season.

The match is scheduled for 21:00 hours and represents Mourinho's first game in charge of Real Madrid at the Bernabéu after a long interval of thirteen and a half years.

In his speech, Mourinho also praised the performance of referee Sánchez Martínez in the last match against Espanyol, although he did not hesitate to criticize the VAR for not penalizing a controversial play in which a player committed a foul.

With the transfer market still open, Mourinho remarked that while the squad is closed, he does not rule out the possibility of movement within it, although he did not specify details regarding potential arrivals or departures.
