Kanye West plans performances in St. Petersburg in October
US rapper Kanye West is set to perform two concerts at Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg this October.
According to a post on the Telegram channel of Gazprom Arena, two concerts by US rapper Kanye West are scheduled for October 10 and 11. The Gazprom Arena, home to the Zenit St. Petersburg football club, has a capacity of around 70,000 spectators.
Ticket prices for the shows start at 9,000 rubles, equivalent to about 92 euros. This could present an opportunity for fans in Russia to see the controversial artist live.
In the past, Kanye West has faced performance bans in Europe due to his statements and sympathies with extreme views, which could now amplify the controversies surrounding the planned performances.
