Karnataka Congress Leader Compares RSS to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Taliban
B.K. Hariprasad's remarks align with demands for clarity on RSS's legal standing concerning property and donations.
B.K. Hariprasad, a leader of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), stated there is no difference between Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Taliban, and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), asserting that all three are not registered in India. His comments followed recent demands from Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge for the RSS to clarify its legal status regarding property, bank accounts, and donation procedures.
In addition to his statements, Hariprasad characterized the RSS as an 'underworld' organization that functions 'irresponsibly'. This aligns with Kharge's criticism of the BJP and RSS, emphasizing that the Congress party does not need validation of patriotism from groups that did not contribute to India's freedom struggle.
