Kingsnake discovered along canal in Schleswig-Holstein
A passerby spotted a kingsnake in Rendsburg, with its origin still unknown. Police have launched an investigation.
In Rendsburg, Schleswig-Holstein, a kingsnake measuring about one and a half meters was found along the canal. According to reports from Der Tagesspiegel, a passerby alerted the police to the snake, which was located near the waterway.
The kingsnake, which is typically found in West and Central Africa, was discovered in an unusual location for it. The Schleswig-Holstein police have since initiated investigations to determine the animal's origin.
