Kremlin considers trilateral meeting between Putin, Trump, and Xi at APEC
MOSCOW, Sept 1 (Reuters) - The Kremlin has indicated that a meeting among the leaders of Russia, the U.S., and China may take place at the upcoming APEC summit.
Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov mentioned on Tuesday that there is a possibility of a trilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to Ushakov's statement, the potential meeting could occur during the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which is scheduled to be held in China.
APEC is known for bringing together leaders from economies in the Asia-Pacific region to discuss economic and trade issues. The summit serves as an important venue for dialogue among global powers.
The Kremlin did not provide further details regarding the agenda or topics that might be addressed in this meeting, leaving expectations open about the gathering of the leaders.
