Sergio Cola, lawyer for Valter Lavitola, stated that his client warned Ranucci of the risk of attacks about a month and a half before an explosive event occurred. According to the lawyer, Lavitola communicated the danger on September 7.

Cola revealed that Ranucci, following this information, had requested an increase in security detail for safety reasons. The lawyer emphasized that the submitted documents demonstrate this request and Ranucci's awareness of the risk.

Lavitola, currently detained at the Rebibbia prison, plans to make further spontaneous statements during the review hearing scheduled for next week. The lawyers are preparing a memorandum to present to the judges as part of the request for a review of the precautionary measures.

Additionally, there is consideration of supplementing the statements already made by Lavitola for a new interrogation. Cola mentioned that they intend to provide an authentic interpretation of what has already been reported.

The issue is further complicated by controversies regarding the salaries of the program Report, which have emerged in the context of Lavitola's case. These controversies have not been directly linked to the claims regarding Ranucci but continue to generate public debate.

Overall, Lavitola's position and his statements about the risk of attacks remain at the center of the legal debate, as the defense seeks to further clarify the situation ahead of the hearing.
