A tragic incident occurred in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, where three family members fell to their deaths into a deep stone quarry. The events unfolded as the teenage son threatened to jump from a cliff when his parents refused to provide money for his iPhone EMIs.

According to reports, the teenager, identified as Kunal, had recently purchased an iPhone and was in a dispute with his family over the payment for the device. This argument escalated, leading him to threaten to jump off the cliff.

Emergency services, including the police and fire brigade, arrived at the scene and attempted to persuade Kunal to step back from the ledge for several hours. Just as these efforts seemed to be ongoing, Kunal lost his footing and fell from the edge.

In a desperate attempt to save their son, his father moved towards him at the moment of his fall, losing his balance in the process. Both Kunal and his father fell into the quarry, followed by the mother who also went to their aid.

Rescuers and family members worked diligently for nearly three hours to reach the individuals, but unfortunately, all three were pronounced dead at the scene. The family had been on a hill when the incident occurred, highlighting the tragic turn of events during a domestic dispute.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the nature of the argument that led to the extreme actions taken by the family. The psychological impact of the situation on nearby witnesses and responders is also being addressed.
