Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, former President of the Republic, felt unwell early in the afternoon on Wednesday at a restaurant in Monte Gordo, Algarve. According to reports, he was on vacation in the area when he began to feel sick.
INEM provided assistance at the scene, and the former president was subsequently transported to the Hospital de Faro. The situation has been confirmed by several sources, including RTP and SAPO 24.
