Carlos Baleba, who recently signed with Manchester United from Brighton for £70 million, is sidelined for up to three weeks due to an ankle injury. This update was provided by Manchester United's manager, Michael Carrick.

Baleba's injury means he will be unable to make his debut for the club as he recovers from this setback. His absence comes as Manchester United looks to strengthen their midfield following the arrivals of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.

The injury has raised questions about the immediate future of United's midfield lineup, but Carrick has indicated that they will adjust accordingly in his absence.
