Montenegro praises Luís Neves’ work and warns of fire risks

Prime Minister António Montenegro praised Luís Neves' work, highlighting the extraordinary effort in fire management. Montenegro announced that the state’s participation in REN's capital could help reduce electricity costs in the medium and long term by improving the efficiency of the energy network.
Although the burned area is currently four times smaller, Montenegro warned that Portugal still faces a period of high fire risk, predicting weeks of significant complexity. The firefighting resources were described as the largest ever, reaffirming the need for constant vigilance.
