Moritz Pristauz and Philipp Waller reach quarter-finals of beach volleyball Euro
The Austrian duo Pristauz/Waller has advanced to the next round of the Euro in Stare Jablonki, while Hammarberg/Berger exited the competition.

Moritz Pristauz and Philipp Waller reached the quarter-finals at the beach volleyball European Championship in Stare Jablonki on Friday. They won their round of 16 match against Swiss athletes Jonathan Jordan and Julian Friedli with scores of 22:20 and 21:13.
The Austrian duo, both 30 years old, has advanced to the next round of the competition and will face the French team of Teo Rotar and Arnaud Gauthier-Rat in the quarter-finals.
However, in the second match between Austria and Switzerland, athletes Timo Hammarberg and Tim Berger were eliminated. They lost their match against Adrian Heidrich and Yves Haussener with a score of 0:2.
The results of these matches showcase the advancements of Austrian beach volleyball at this European Championship, while the defeat of Hammarberg and Berger represents a setback for the team.
