Mothers for Mothers distributes 600 school bags in Borgerhout

The non-profit organization Mothers for Mothers has organized the first of four school bag markets in Borgerhout. During this event, 600 school bags were distributed to families facing financial difficulties.

The school bags included essential school supplies such as lunch boxes, water bottles, and pencil cases. This provides important support for families in the neighborhood, especially with the new school year approaching.

One mother, who came to pick up a school bag for her three children, expressed the significance of this initiative. She stated that the program offers valuable assistance to many families.

Through this initiative, Mothers for Mothers hopes that children can enter the classroom well-prepared. The organization plans to hold a total of four school bag markets in Borgerhout to support as many students as possible.
