Mozambican government authorizes resumption of 30 mining companies in Manica
The Government of Mozambique has greenlit the resumption of activities for 30 suspended mining companies in Manica province after they met established requirements.

The Mozambican government has authorized the resumption of activities for 30 out of 41 mining companies that had been suspended in Manica over the past twelve months. The authorization was granted after these companies fulfilled the environmental requirements and mining regulations mandated by the government.
The remaining 11 companies are still undergoing evaluation, according to information released by the media. This decision aims to boost the mining sector in the region, which has been inactive since the suspension of activities.
