Multiple earthquakes reported in Indonesia, Mexico, and Peru in recent hours

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake was recorded in the Java Sea, off the northeastern coast of Indonesia, according to information from the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ). This event occurred on Saturday morning, local time. Additionally, another earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 was reported in the same region, indicating notable seismic activity in the area.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, several earthquakes have been recorded in recent hours. One of them has a magnitude of 4.0, located in Guerrero, which occurred at 18:26, 24 km from Petatlán, at a depth of 57.4 km. Another seismic event with a magnitude of 4.1 took place at 20:44 in the same state, 51 km from Atoyac de Álvarez, at a greater depth of 3.0 km.

The National Seismological Service of Mexico has been documenting all these seismic movements across the country in real-time. It was reported that the tremors in Guerrero are part of a series of seismic activities that have occurred in Mexico, which is known for its location in the Pacific Ring of Fire.

In addition, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake was reported in Peru, specifically in Ica. This country is also located in an area prone to significant tremors, due to its geographical position in the previously mentioned Ring of Fire, where many of the world's strongest earthquakes occur.

In another event, on September 13, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake was confirmed in Oaxaca, Mexico. This movement occurred at 00:04, 68 km from Unión Hidalgo, and was situated at a depth of 130.2 km, which is relatively deep for an earthquake in the region, according to the standards of the National Seismological Service.

Finally, another tremor of 4.1 also took place in Oaxaca, highlighting the ongoing seismic activity in this region of Mexico. It is important to note that authorities continue to monitor these situations to ensure the safety of the population.
