Mysuru Police Warn of Action Ahead of Karnataka Bandh
Support for the Karnataka bandh is divided in Mysuru, but normal operations are expected to continue.
Mysuru City Police have announced that they will take strict action ahead of the Karnataka bandh planned over the Cauvery issue. The department has issued warnings to ensure public order during the event.
Despite the call for the bandh, most organizations in Mysuru are only providing moral support, with reports indicating that public and private transport, as well as commercial establishments, are expected to operate normally. Additionally, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) and the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) have confirmed they will not participate in the bandh.
