NEC coach Dick Schreuder has prepared his team for the Champions League play-offs against FC Bodø/Glimt. During a press conference, he expressed hope that NEC can pull off an upset in this important match.
De Goffert has been transformed into a Champions League-style venue for the game. However, Schreuder mentioned that he is sometimes a bit irritated by practical issues, such as parking.
If NEC wins the play-offs, they will join two other Dutch clubs in the main draw of the Champions League, a feat not accomplished in the last 24 years.
