Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Monday (24) that Iran attempted to assassinate one of his sons. During an appearance on a television program, Netanyahu made the accusation but did not specify which of his two sons was targeted or provide information on when or where the attempt occurred.

According to reports, Netanyahu described the attempt as "unbelievable" and reiterated that Iran is engaged in actions that threaten his family and Israel's security. This claim marks the first time Netanyahu has publicly mentioned such an intent against his sons.

Several sources, including g1 and El Comercio, confirmed that Netanyahu did not disclose many details about the alleged operation, and it is unclear how close the attack came to being carried out.

Journalist Amit Segal from Channel 14 noted that this information had been circulating in some circles for several months prior to Netanyahu's statement, although the exact nature of the attempt has remained unclear until now.

Additionally, Netanyahu publicly criticized former President Donald Trump's plan for Gaza, stating that any potential withdrawal of Israeli forces would be contingent upon the disarmament of Hamas, reflecting a firm stance on security issues in the region.

The Iranian government has not commented on the allegations made by Netanyahu so far, and the atmosphere of hostility between the two countries continues to be a sensitive issue in international relations.
