The new album by singer Cesária Évora, titled "Reina da Morna," will be released in October. The disc features ten tracks that have never been released before.
Produced by José da Silva, this album emerges from the archives of Lusafrica, now under the aegis of Sony Music.
Cesária Évora, known as the "barefoot diva," is one of the most iconic figures in Cape Verdean music and in morna, the traditional musical genre of Cape Verde.
The inclusion of unreleased recordings in the album represents a new opportunity for fans to rediscover the musical legacy of the artist.
