The Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) announced on Saturday who will be the assistants to new head coach Xavi Hernández. Ruud van Nistelrooij, who previously served as an assistant to Ronald Koeman, will continue in his role with the Dutch national team.

Adil Ramzi, a former Moroccan international, is another new assistant to Xavi. Additionally, Patrick Lodewijks remains on board as the goalkeeper coach, responsible for the development of the national team's goalkeepers.

Xavi Hernández has also brought three Spanish assistants with him: Sergio Alegre, Óscar Hernández, who is Xavi's brother, and Iván Torres, the new performance coach. These three professionals previously worked with Xavi at his clubs Al-Sadd and Barcelona.

The choice to work with the Spanish assistants reflects Xavi's emphasis on having a well-functioning team. He has previously found that collaborating with trusted individuals leads to greater efficiency.

With the composition of his technical staff, Xavi hopes to lay a strong foundation for the future performance of the Dutch national team. The KNVB is pleased with the selected assistants, who bring valuable experience.

It is still unclear when the Dutch national team, under Xavi Hernández's leadership, will play its first match, but preparations are already well underway.
