Niebla fire devastates over 20,000 hectares in Andalusia
The Niebla fire in Huelva has impacted over 20,000 hectares and is considered out of control, leading to the evacuation of more than 600 people from various areas.
The fire in Niebla, Huelva, has already reached over 20,000 hectares, exceeding the emergency services' capacity to extinguish it. Adverse weather conditions, including gusts of southwestern wind and complicated terrain, have contributed to the spread of the fire.
According to reports, the Junta has indicated that convective phenomena are causing the emergence of secondary hotspots in various directions, complicating the situation even further.
More than 600 people have been evacuated from areas such as Los Ángeles de San Rafael, Vegas de Matute (Segovia), and Catí (Castellón) due to the advancing fire and the threats it poses.
Authorities continue to work with heavy machinery and technical fire control in an effort to contain the blaze, which has necessitated the implementation of emergency measures in the region.
