Météo-France has announced that nine departments in the Southwest and part of the Massif Central will be placed on orange alert due to storms forecasted for Monday. This alert will take effect between 2 PM and 3 PM, depending on the regions affected.

Severe thunderstorms are expected across a large part of the southwestern territory, with stormy conditions likely to spread towards the Massif Central and Southeast later in the day. Authorities anticipate that the alert may be lifted between 6 PM and 8 PM, depending on the evolution of the weather conditions.

On another note, conflicting information mentions that sixteen departments could be affected by this orange alert, indicating the potential scale of the upcoming storm conditions, although the final number of departments reported as vulnerable remains to be confirmed by Météo-France.
