North Korea strengthens military support for Russia
North Korea is increasing its military aid to Russia with tens of thousands of soldiers and ballistic missiles, according to Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian authorities, North Korea is expanding its support for Russia in the war against Ukraine. This includes the shipment of an additional tens of thousands of troops and 120 ballistic missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia used North Korean ballistic missiles during the attacks on the city of Zaporizhia. He also warned of the arrival of 30,000 to 50,000 North Korean troops to the conflict zone.
The cooperation between Russia and North Korea has significantly strengthened in recent years. South Korean estimates indicate that North Korea has delivered millions of artillery shells to Russia since July 2023.
