Oil and gas prices rise, Brent surpasses $101
Oil prices continue to climb, with Brent exceeding $101 per barrel, while European stock markets open lower.

Oil prices continue to rise, with Brent surpassing the $101 per barrel mark, registering an increase of 3.5% and reaching $101.4, according to ANSA.
WTI also saw a rise and is trading at $96.35, up 1.8%. This upward trend has been influenced by tensions between the United States and Iran, which are pushing energy prices up, as reported by Rai News.
Fuel costs have increased significantly: gasoline has hit its highest levels in four years, nearing €2.07 per liter, while diesel is approaching €2.18 per liter, with even higher prices on the highways.

European stock markets opened lower across the board: Milan recorded a decrease of 0.63%, while other markets such as London and Paris showed losses of just under half a point, with Frankfurt marking the most significant drop at 0.75%.
Despite the rise in oil prices, ANSA reported a slight decrease in WTI quotes, which were traded at $95.68, while Brent stands at $100.52.
Markets continue to monitor the energy resource situation, with gas remaining at highs, exceeding €78, and October futures contracts gaining 3.3% according to quotes at the TTF in Amsterdam.
